Indian Rock Lake Cabin
Rental Description:
Brand new, cozy, two bedroom (double master), luxury cabin, built in 2010 nestled in the woods beside a cute covered bridge on Indian Rock Lake. A short path meanders through the woods to a private dock with table and chairs overlooking Indian Rock Lake, one of several stocked private lakes in Sisson's Cherrylog Mountain development, perfect for sitting and enjoying the view or tossing out a bobber. Relax in a smoke free, pet free environment as you delight in an over sized master bedroom with a 5 ft walk in shower, double sinks, a private sliding door to the upper deck and the leather recliner that awaits your morning tea or coffee.
Indian Rock Lake Cabin is located on Benton Mac Kaye hiking trail, a connector trail to the Appalachian Trail, so bring your hiking boots. On rainy days there's games, books or DVDs to watch. This is a beautifully decorated cabin featuring custom made black walnut furniture by Ohio craftsman Harry Meyer. A fully stocked stainless steel kitchen with dual burner stove and vented range hood will bring a smile to the gourmet cook.
The owner has both bamboo and graphite fly rods that already know the Toccoa River trout and are waiting for you to take them out for the day. Feel free to use the flies. Stop by the folks just up the road in Blue Ridge at Unicoi Outfitters for information and maps, a guide or fishing license if you need it, and get a few replacement flies for the ones you may leave behind so the next person will have as good a day as you have.
Some may find the end of the day the best of all as they watch the sun drop behind the mountains from one of the many rockers on the upper deck overlooking Indian Rock Lake. Or perhaps your day ends down at the fire pit around the campfire in the evening telling stories of your adventures, or is it in the covered hot tub with a glass of wine? No matter what, crawling into bed and enjoying the luxury of deluxe 400 count sheets will be the perfect end to the perfect day an Indian Rock Lake Cabin.
